Stadium Medical Ambulance was established in 2000 in the Denver metro area as a non-emergent transport service provider to athletes at the professional and collegiate levels. Since then, we have covered nearly every venue in town, such as Red Rocks, Ball Arena, Paramount or Mission Ballroom. Recently, we formed a partnership with Common Spirit Health formerly known as Centura Health. We have grown far and wide into Summit County, Golden, CO, and the CO Springs communities - and beyond! YOU WILL:

Provide 24-hour dispatch services by monitoring and answering multiple phone lines; process and prioritize requests for services and utilize systems to ensure proper deployment of appropriate resources. Responsible for the precise and accurate retrieval, dissemination, and documentation of information.

Job Knowledge:

  • Prioritizes requests for service and dispatches appropriate resources.

  • Maintains accurate status and appropriate deployment of assigned resources.

  • Ability to operate a multi-line phone system, radio communications system, computerized dispatch system, and other various computer systems and databases.

  • Ability to accurately listen and comprehend phone and radio messages

  • Exhibit abilities to take an organized approach to set priorities and achieve objectives.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in maintaining systems and procedures.

Decision Making, Judgment, Composure, and Prioritization:

  • Gathers necessary information to dispatch an appropriate level of care response vehicle.

  • Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously, deal with interruptions and handle difficult situations under time pressure.

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain self-control during peak periods is essential.

  • Demonstrate organizational and problem-solving skills.

Customer Service and Interpersonal Relations:

  • Ability and desire to provide a high level of customer service.

  • Answers, evaluates, prioritizes, and appropriately refers to incoming phone calls.

  • Possess and maintain the ability to provide excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate, interact and provide support to the general public, facilities, hospitals, and customers.

  • Supportive interaction with team members to maintain a professional working environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, inspire trust, relate easily to employees at all levels, and work effectively with people.

Administrative Support:

  • Responsible for creating call schedules for the upcoming day’s workload.

  • Maintain and update resource files utilized by the communications center.

  • Strong computer and data entry skills.

  • Ability to multi-task in an office environment with multiple personnel and distractions.

Minimum requirements:

Must be 18 years or older; high school diploma or equivalent; demonstrated experience in performing simultaneous tasks. Customer service experience is required. Command of the English language, both written and verbal, and the ability to speak clearly and distinctly. Ability to exercise a high degree of good judgment and independence while evaluating emergency and non-emergency situations and the ability to make calm split-second decisions. Previous dispatch/field experience highly preferred. ICS Certification preferred.

Accepting applications for full-time overnights and mid-shift

Hiring range: $50,336.00 - $66,238.74 full-time estimated annual salary; part-time to be determined based upon the number of hours worked
