Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting the pre-billing process of auditing EMS patient care reports prior to submission to our 3rd party billing department along with timely crew follow-up any of non-billable documentation.
MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year of billing experience preferred, ambulance setting a plus. Auditing experience of 1 year is preferred. Proficient in medical terminology in an ambulance setting preferred. Proficient in MS Office – particularly Excel; strong aptitude for relevant billing software and other programs/applications. High school diploma or GED. Minimum 21 years of age. Familiarity of ESO CAD preferred.
Starting rate: $20.50 - $23.00 per hour
